As of today, January 22nd 2010, there are only 98 days left to find your home, make an offer and if the seller approves it, have the contract and all addendums fully signed. Lender Owned (aka REO, Bank Owned, Foreclosures) properties can take several days to approve or decline an offer. Short Sales can take months!!! So, while 98 days may seem enough, in this market 98 days are enough if we start NOW. There is a strong seller's market, for properties Under $200,000 and my clients have to fight multiple offers and wait Even on Lender Owned Listings almost a week to find out if we are Accepted or have to start over again. There is a saying that as soon as you like something everyone else does too, and that saying is so true.
